ObamaCare Delays and Other Unconstitutional Acts of the President.

Our Constitutional Republic is being destroyed from within and You Are Responsible!

v

A couple of days ago, I was contacted by a patriot and he sent me a copy of a message that he had sent to his Congressional Representatives plus a couple of others. I asked if I could use his letter as the basis for a similar communication to congress, and he granted permission.

v

I then sat down and composed the following instrument, some of it directly from my friend’s letter, and other parts re-composed, and sent it to The Speaker of the House of Representatives, The House Majority Leader (Paul Ryan), MY Representative, Mitch McConnell (The Senate Minority Leader) and Senators Alexander and Corker. As you can see by the letter, I have requested a reply from everyone. I will probably get a reply from Senator Corker (he’s pretty good about answering communications) and Representative Fincher (he answers when the pressure gets turned up).

v

Please feel free to utilize my document as a template to YOUR Congressional Representatives. I do ask that you not just copy and paste, but change the wording without changing the meaning of the message. If we ALL act together and send basically the same message about illegal activity as shown in the attached document page three, we may be able to get something done as a group that a singular person can not accomplish.

v

I CHALLENGE YOU to get off the couch and send some communications to your Congressional Representatives (One Congressman and two Senators), and voice your feelings and desires to them regarding the performance of the President and his illegal acts.

Re: ObamaCare: delays and other unconstitutional acts of the President.

Dear Congressmen,

v

On February 10, 2014 CNS News.com posted the following - “President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department issued a new regulation today that for the second time directly violates the plain and unambiguous text of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act  by allowing some businesses to avoid the law’s Dec. 31, 2013 deadline to provide health insurance coverage to their employees.”

v

My understanding of the Constitution of the United States indicates that once the President has signed a bill into law, the only way it can be modified is by way of an act of Congress, OR a judicial order of the Supreme Court of the United States finding the law to be unconstitutional. A President can not simply pick up a pen and re-write a law based on feeling or convenience. What is happening to the rule of law in our Country? How can you, as a duly elected officials, standby and allow this to happen? What have you done about this? What are you going to do about this? Don't you see that every time this happens, it's as if the President is “flipping you off” right in front of the
entire nation?

v

And this is not the first time that this has happened. The attachment to this letter is from http://www. gop.com, and it shows how the law has been manipulated to the convenience and comfort of the President and his Democrat friends, cronies, and Congressmen. I believe this President is becoming an increasingly lawless ruler, and YOU are complicit by allowing him to get away with it!

It appears he (and you) believe he can make what ever laws he wants to... but Hey, isn't that YOUR job? Oh wait. There is a document that shows you what to do and how to do it. That document is called The Constitution of the United States. It is very clear who writes the laws, who enforces the laws, AND who CHANGES the laws once written. I do not recall seeing ANYWHERE in the Constitution where the President of the United States can amend a law to his liking. He can not even amend a bill before him for signature. It ALL goes back to The Congress of the United States... 435 men and women that make up the House of Representatives and the Senate.

v

If you are just going to sit back and let the President legislate from the White House, what good are you? Why don't we just save a few million dollars a year, and just do away with the entire House and Senate? Are you (the Congress) not worried about how this totally disregards the U.S. Constitution? I don't understand why are you not screaming from the rooftops!

v

And another question: let's just say that Republicans were to win the House, Senate and

Presidency the next time around. Will you be willing to allow the “Republican” President to do the

same thing? I can GUARANTEE the Democrats would not stand for it for a second, AND NEITHER

WILL I! Because, IT'S NOT LEGAL!

v

It's about time you do your job! Put AMERICA first! Be a PATRIOT! FIGHT this before it's too late!

I am informing you now, if you won't stand up and fight to defend this Country and our

Constitution, I promise, by GOD, I WILL support candidates who do their jobs in accordance with

the Law of the Land!

v

I apologize if this has comes across as disrespectful, as that is not my intent. However, this is an

EXTREMELY critical matter to me, and, I feel it is threatening the very survival of our Country, as

we have know it. Without the rule of law, we are doomed!

v

I would appreciate the courtesy of a reply from each of you.

v

Sincerely,

v

Gary Nelson
